A Branch of the Center for Training IT Specialists Opens in Krasnodar

The “Tsifra” academy now has 15 branches across Russia with its headquarters in Kaliningrad. In 2025, AVA Group became a co-owner of the academy.

“Opening such a modern learning space in the capital of Kuban is a strategic investment in the region’s digital economy and will strengthen the city’s status as one of the IT hubs of southern Russia,” said AVA Group founder Vagan Arutyunyan.

The opening was attended by the head of the Krasnodar Region Association for Digital Development, Sergei Grabsky, and the rector of KubGTU, Igor Lagerev.

Training programs at the academy will be updated every four months, and the curriculum will use robotics and VR laboratories.

Currently, IT training in Krasnodar is provided by KubSAU, KubSU, KubGTU, and four other universities. According to the regional administration, more than 2,700 IT companies operate in the region.

Earlier, RBC Krasnodar reported that more than 2,000 IT vacancies were opened in the Krasnodar Region in August 2024. This is 16.2% more than in August 2023, when 1,800 vacancies were posted. From January to September 2024, the average salary range for IT specialists working in construction and real estate was from 70,000 to 138,000 rubles.
