“Annual charity drives on the eve of the new school year unite hundreds of companies and thousands of volunteers across the country to help families in difficult life situations and support their school preparations. This kind of care and simple human involvement primarily provides social and psychological support to children and their parents, helping them greet such an important day as September 1 in a festive mood,” said Vagan Arutyunyan, founder of AVA Group.
For many years, AVA has helped children with serious illnesses through several charitable foundations. Since 2023, the holding has worked with the Sunray Kids center, providing needed support. The company purchases school supplies for Knowledge Day and gives New Year gifts as part of the “DobroYolka” campaign.
Traditionally, the children of AVA Group employees also receive attention ahead of September 1. This year, more than 60 families received first-grader starter kits.
